Grand Teton National Park

Highlight

Encompassing approximately 310,000 acres of pristine landscapes, the Grand Teton National Park is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers.

A grand display of mountain peaks

At the heart of Grand Teton National Park stands the awe-inspiring Teton Range.

Characterized by its jagged peaks and sweeping vistas, this mountain range is a paradise for hikers and photographers alike. The Grand Teton itself, soaring to an elevation of 13,770 feet, serves as the crown jewel of the park's landscape.

The ever-changing play of light and shadow against these granite giants creates a mesmerizing spectacle, offering a canvas that shifts from fiery sunrises to tranquil sunsets.

Trails for every explorer

Grand Teton National Park boasts a diverse network of trails catering to adventurers of all skill levels.

For those seeking a leisurely stroll through picturesque meadows and along the banks of serene lakes, the Jenny Lake Loop trail is a popular choice.

On the other hand, more experienced hikers may opt for the Cascade Canyon Trail, which leads to breathtaking vistas of waterfalls and glacier-carved canyons.

Wildlife encounters

Be on the lookout for moose on this trail!

I was within about 6 feet of one as he was right off the trail which was definitely wayyyy too close so be careful as they can hide well in the thick brush.

One of the most captivating aspects of Grand Teton National Park is its vibrant wildlife population.

The park is home to a diverse array of animals, including moose, elk, bison, and the elusive gray wolf.

Bird enthusiasts may be able to spot species such as bald eagles and peregrine falcons soaring above.

Visitors can witness these creatures in their natural habitats, a reminder of the delicate balance that exists within this pristine ecosystem.

To keep the park looking pristine, be sure to always pack out whatever you bring in with you!
